Tweed + Lizzie
So here we are, and could not be more excited. We are starting a weekly blog post about things fashion in the Northwest — written by a designer (Lizzie) with content ideas from customers in the store (Tweed). Think of it as your local what you need to know — or for those of you from other geographies, we are evolving past plaid flannel shirts in Seattle.
What is the Pacific Northwest look these days — well tune in often and subscribe to find out. My theory is that it somehow involves a really good pair of glasses, why is that? There may still be some socks and birkies going on, but we can stop it together.
Anyhow, our biggest undertaking is the launch of our | eco - atelier | in Tweed Boutique where we will unveil the pieces of 8 collection. The idea came out of the floundering economy, as we thought women wanted items to wear that could be worn multiple ways — and made in the US for a good price. So, the sub collection was born. If you check out the fashion show, and notice the raspberry items — we will be offering those in 5 colors.
Speaking of, are you coming to our launch and having a glass of wine? It is November 8th, 5:30 - 8:30pm at Tweed Boutique in Greenwood, we would love to see you.
There will be over 250 pieces of Lizzie Parker in the store AND online. This will include many color offerings of the favorite t shirt – which has been a staple and customer favorite in the collection (c’mon, we know you have slept in it).
And don’t forget – Tweed has menswear as well – so you can have a girls night out or bring the guy, there will be something for everyone.
